I have just used the myMix system on an extensive tour of China as main band monitoring system. With very limited time for setup in the different venues, the intuitive handling of the system allowed for no monitoring issues. The fact that the different musicians controlled the channel inputs themselves, meant that we only had to rely on the FOH staff to send us vocal and FX feeds which were triggered from their position. The Mute/ Solo/ Global Volume interface makes for incredibly speedy live mix switches. Having worked with most monitoring systems, I would highly recommend this to other musicians and will personally insist on this system henceforth.

On previous productions of this show I have specified various band monitoring systems all with varying degrees of success. Just prior to this tour I had the myMix system demonstrated to me, impressed with what I saw and heard and took the decision to include this as the specified system on the tour rider. At the initial show in Hong Kong the system was setup on the bandstand and a brief operational demonstration given to the 12 piece band, after very brief sound check during which the various mixes were sent to the system, we went into an intensive show rehearsal period. It was only a few days later after the opening night that I realized that band monitors had simply not been an issue. The myMix had been so intuitive and so reliable that if there had been any issues, the band had simply dealt with them themselves. myMix is definitely my band monitoring system of choice.

… we LOVE these units. Our band plays a lot of festivals where pro sound is provided and sometimes we have to use their floor wedge monitors and every time that happens we hate it.

We have become very spoiled with our MyMix system and use it every chance we can. It is the perfect system for our setup. Most times we use no stage amps, even our drummer uses a electronic kit. Everything is direct to the FOH and the sound engineer loves it.

Zero bleed thru of any instrument thru the vocal mics and total control of FOH sound. Because we also rehearse with the MyMix system our sound checks are very short and easy as there is no need for a stage sound setup, just FOH. Another thing we tell people that we love about using the system is for learning songs for rehearsals.

We are a “Summer of Love”, Woodstock” tribute band that arranges many medleys and customs beginnings and endings to songs that are difficult to always remember and/or teach new players. By being able to record our rehearsals onto the SD card it allows us to go home and playback the rehearsal and mute your own channel(s) so you can “practice” the difficult parts of songs along with the band, just like it they were with you live.

We get a lot of musicians who come see us perform and they are always amazed at the MyMix when we explain what it is and how it works.
