The myMix personal monitor mixer is the main building block for any myMix system. It can be used stand alone, or connected to an Ethernet switch as a system with up to 250 devices.

The user can select from all available audio channels in the network and create an individual stereo mix for headphones, in-ear monitors and (powered) speakers.

Each myMix can create a stereo mix using the internal stereo FX, tone control and panning selecting up to 16 from up to 500 network channels and put this signal to headphones or in/ears, drive power speakers or transmitters for wireless IEMs. This stereo mix can be also be sent back to the network, for others to listen to a mix, or use it as submix within myMix.

The local inputs are for microphone (XLR) or line level (1/4″ TRS) sources; phantom power is available. The channels to select for the mix can be from an IEX16 input expander, other local myMix inputs , other stereo mixes, or the tracks from SD cards in Playback mode.

With a single press of the RECORD button the selected audio channels get recorded in multi-track as 24-bit, 48kHz broadcast wav files. These files can be used with any DAW software or played back and remixed (virtual sound check). In Play Along Mode the two local inputs can be mix with the recorded tracks- a powerful tool to turn a practice at home into a full band rehearsal.

BASIC 8 Network

T the MIXPACK 4 starter package contains everything needed to provide individual stereo mixes and multi-track recording for four or more musicians.

Four myMix units provide eight inputs to connect and label microphone (phantom power available) and line level sources. All devices get connected with a CAT5* cable to the included POE switch. If you want to share the input signals with a console you can split the signal from DI-boxes for line level and use y-cable (or a mic split box) for microphones.

If you have more than four people on stage, consider using a 4-ch headphone amp and share a mix (e.g. for the vocalists). The POE switch provides power for up to 8 myMix units, so you can add 4 more myMix or 3 myMix and an IEX16 input expander to have more individual mixes and more audio channels available.

Should you ever outgrow this system all you need to get is a larger switch with more ports.

The MIXPACK 4 set includes:

Using up to 10 local inputs from myMix- and 16 from an IEX16L-A input expander there are 26 audio channels to select from. All devices get connected with a CAT5* cable to the Power8 switch. Connect your audio inputs to the IEX16L-A and/or myMix and start.

With the 8-port network switch, you can easily expand the system by adding three more myMix and/or the myMix Control, or a second IEX16L-A input expander. The GB uplink port on the switch allows to connect to a second switch – all by simply plug and play.

The MIXPACK 5 set includes:

Application example

8 myMix for musicians on stage. 16 signals are fed from the console (direct outs and aux sends) to the IEX16L (A). This setup allows musicians to create their mixes from an individual selection, while mixes of music and speech are sent to the overflow and cry room.
